Hello everyone, I am a proud new owner of the 2018 used Toyota Prius prime advance with 25k miles on it. It has a clean history and no scratches while driving it home today. I noticed what I learned was the ISC indicator, after doing some digging I found that it should not be flashing. I went to the form and found this <ICS Reset | PriusChat> but that was not helpful for my situation, even tho I tried the fixes. What I come to the form with is. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? Should I return the car? Is there a fix for this that is simple? If I do keep the car and get it fixed are there long-term issues that I face with having this arise so early on?
Sam's right. Not normal. If it's not just dirty, then something needs fixing. I'd take it back where I bought it if something goes wrong on the first day.
Just lack of function and the annoyance. My wife's car has ICS. I turn it off when I'm driving it on a long trip. I find it annoying as well when it's working right.
You won't know that until you know what is causing the fault to show up. Since you just bought it, there is NO good reason not to insist that the seller fix it. Other related things might fail later.
