Is there a fix for the LED headlight" chi headlight system" error????

Sorry for the blunt response earlier. I was sitting in Church with my Son and 11:00 Mass was about to start!

Experience is probably just as important as school knowledge, or at least my home wiring issue was solved by a professional electrician where I was convinced I needed to go into the attic.

I found, miraculously as I am disorganized, the wiring diagram to the headlight to the '12 Prius v. I am currently trying to count the number of wires into the headlight assembly...

 

Five wires as far as I can see. There is a node to ground from the headlight assembly and is also connected to what looks like pin #3 of the DRL Module (aka Relay) that may look like a 6th wire, again, that is if the car has DRLs.

 

Idk. I think the led are plenty bright. I do not have any issues seeing with them. My worry is cost if they fail. Hid are expensive so I can only imagine

 

Don't worry too much. Go to a local Lowes and check out the bulb section. If you look carefully at the LED replacement bulbs they have a lifespan of over 20 yrs at 3 hrs of use a day, or something super like that....
