It's basically a length of flat steel bar, a metal fabrication shop could easily make that piece for you, and even make it out of heavier gauge material if you like.

When I click on the part number link given in post #15 above, the first ten search results I get are all Toyota dealer, amazon, or amayama links. It doesn't seem difficult to find.

    Hi
Yes it’s just a straight metal bar with 4 holes on each side but why can’t I find the part number in Toyota directory. This bar came with 2014 Prius lvl two and looks like Toyota doesn’t sell replacement rod.

That’s not the part which broke its a different rod.

link from post 15 part number
    53605-12021 doesn’t fit with 2014 Prius.
As of right now there is no aftermarket reinforcement bar for 2014 Prius. I do see for gen 1 ,2 and 2010-2013. I have been looking 2014 and 2015 reinforcements bar oem part number and there isn’t anything here. I also called Toyota parts and they have no idea without the part number.

Amayama can have superseded parts, at least that was the case with my oil filter conversion, where there was several versions. There must be a reason for revision, but older part is hopefully serviceable.
