I overlooked the cause of the issue in order to follow all the service recommendations for code B1801... but what I finally looked at today was a bent prong on the clock spring side of the connector coming from the SRS ECU. So I straightened the pin and pugged it in and FINALLY no more airbag cod/dash light. Thank YOU everyone for your support!

Well, that would be reported as a B1801 fair and square ....

Was there any indication of how the prong got bent in the first place?
