2004 12v battery replacement

My mother was recently given a 2004 Prius, and she’s been having some issues with accessories and instruments shutting off on her while the car otherwise drives normally. The dealer that was working on it recently needed to jumpstart it after it had sat for about three days. I’m guessing the 12v battery probably needs replacement — the original owner did most of his own maintenance, and tended to let stuff go as long as possible, so this is probably the second battery, at best.

I think I can replace it myself…the instructions I’ve found don’t seem difficult. But reading the many battery threads posted here over the years, I’m not clear on whether there is currently a third-party drop-in replacement for the original battery. O’Reilly carries 2-3 in stock locally that claim to be right for the car, but some of the threads suggest that not every battery that works will actually fit properly.

Can anyone recommend a specific battery that’ll fit properly? Thanks!
