P0302 cylinder 2 misfire detected

    You should look inside the cylinder and see if the piston is cleaner than the others.
    Maybe #1 cylinder is cleaner also? Do you see moisture in there?????
    Sounds like the begining of a failed head gasket....

    Did you clean the EGR and intake (including the EGR passages in the latter)? At what miles?

    The harness was my first thought, but odds of it being intermittent wouldn't be as likely.

    Yes I cleaned the egr system and intake when I did the head gasket, so 2 weeks ago 198000 miles

    I just did head gasket and am hoping the short drive to town with a failing, mines spins a few hundred rpm above the targeted range, water pump didn’t blown a new gasket

    Well guys it looks like changing the #2 spark plug took care of the misfire.
