2010 Turned off while driving

    Good thing I was not on the Freeway

    Car turned off while driving won't turn back on
    Big Yellow triangle check engine symbol too
    Check Hybrid System on dash monitor
    91k miles

    Here are the Codes given (Giving as much detail as I can)

    This one is prominent First thing that shows up (stored) Global OBD2 U0100 " Lost commucation with ECU/PCM "A"
    If drivability issues are present Threat to essential system components if not repaired ASAP"

    Under Hybrid Control module Codes given
    P0A0D
    U0100 (shows up again)

    Under ABS/VSC/TRAC module Codes Given
    1253
    1256
    1259

    What is wrong ? THANKS

    Did it restart? Brakes ok?

    Was PO80D actually a POA0D ?

    The other codes could be a side effect of the hybrid system quitting or a brake booster fail.

    It will not restart I get "check hybrid system" on the main dash display
    The brakes seem okay

    I disconnected and reconected it to see if that was the problem. (It was not this time)

    I am a bit surprised only one person responded
    Problem “fixed”

    Cleared codes turn off and on again

    Car started up

    Ran system check again

    DTCs Only two
    ABS/VSC/TRAC
    1253 pump motor relay
    1256 Accumulator Low pressure

    No codes for Hybrid Control anymore
    What happened and What do the remaining codes have to do with anything?

    After verifying the orange disconnect, you have to clear the code next. So it could have been the issue. Still may have a brake booster issue.

    What would cause the code U0100 to come up the orange breaker disconnect or something with the ABS?
