    Long story short, I'm curious if anyone happens to know if the PCB that is directly behind to screen is the same for all versions of the 11.6" unit?

    I'm hoping I can use the PCB (and possibly the entire screen assembly) from a 2017's E5702 to repair a damaged E5708 from a 2020.

    (Pictures are screenshots from a youtube video demonstrating disassembly to repair a screen.)

    Thanks.

    When I had to replace my MFD with a used one, the exact same serial number unit needed to be purchased. You can see the serial number in the bottom right front of the screen, I believe.

    If they match, you should have no issues. Since they don't, I am uncertain what portions of the MFD differ from other units. Usually they are sold and replaced as a single unit (display, circuit board and computer "box") that is attached with what looks like 2 screws only.

    Toyota charges $9k for a brand new screen. Got mine used for $1200.

    It may just be me, but just in case:

    PCB = Printed Circuit Board

    I think.

    Yes, sorry, the printed circuit board.
