I have a 2012 Prius and I had not driven it for several days and it would not start, zero power no dome light no power locks. I used a battery pack and jumped it from the battery. It started fine, ran fine no warning lights. Drove it 25 miles on the highway, turned off and flat dead again. I am getting a new battery as it is four years old. Does this sound like strictly a 12v battery issue? Anything I should be aware of before replacing the battery? Thanks

Yes just a battery issue, a new battery should solve your problems (since you can jump start without issue)

Just make sure you charge the battery for at least 8 hours at 4amps or less so that it
will have a full charge from the start. The inverter won't charge it as well, and it's slow.
