Does the 2012 model 3 MFD shown below (Navigation Radio Receiver System) work if installed in a 2013 model 2 without the nav, rear cam and extras? My model 2 is like a Bluetooth and typical Radio Receiver System.

Anyone know of a reference detailing the two, ideally the wiring diagrams for both to see what matches and what does not? Maybe additional items to get from the donor car if worth removing.

Was wondering if the majority of the radio receiver, speakers and Bluetooth capabilities does install and works properly enough, if it's worth the effort to snake through the rear view camera wire and install as well so to have that available? Didn't seem like a not rear view camera model had a wire run for the camera when I checked in the yard, though a lot was tore up on that one.

For a little more context, my current 2013 radio 6.1" screen has been having contrast issues for the last 100K miles like shown. Maybe there is a capacitor that needs replacing or a shoddy connection? Would be neat to have the newer features of the upgraded model radio however.

I found that the 2010 has a different design stereo and I'll post the info here as well. The model is in the image.

Here's a wiring diagram I found here: RADIO – Toyota Prius 2014 – SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS – Wiring diagrams for cars

Here's more images regarding the stereo I pulled from the reported 2012 Model 3, albeit not confirmed via a VIN check. Looks like I might have missed a jumper connectors that I literally had in my hand the second time I picked parts from. Will get next round there.
