This is just a matter of getting the right hubcentric rings.

Looks great. Any rubbing? Searched online and apparently they are a whopping 31 lbs though.

Sorry for double photo - still getting the hang of photo posting. The Borbets are my second set - I liked the wife's Type F Black ones on her XLE-AWD so much I got the silver Type W for my Prime. They were blowing them out at Tire Rack for awhile. Don't know if they still have stock, but I sure like them. Solid but not too heavy.

40mm I think. Tire Rack supplied the centering ring thingies. They also sell TPMS that work for under 50 bucks apiece.

Got mine all mounted up. 19x8 +48 Ray's w/ 245/40/19. Please excuse the grime, were in the middle of a massive winter storm.

I probably said it before in another thread but I don't think you can go much below a +45 offset on a lowered car without chopping stuff or going with a smaller tire. The fitment on mine is quite close but it doesn't rub.

Looks good! You CAN go below a +45 offset if your wheel width is less. That’s kinda how it works

since you quoted my post about the hub spec, do you have a measurement of the ID for the hub centric rings (if they were needed )?

Yea but sub 8" wheel selection more uncommon. Then you run into the issue that you wont be able to match the stock diameter tire. 225/55/17, 245/45/18, or 245/40/19 are the ideal sizes. If you want more narrow than a 8" you're pretty much stuck going to an 18 or smaller.

    60mm

Since you lowered your car did you readjust camber after lowering? Just thinking if there’s sufficient camber gain if left at stock height to allow for wider wheels and/or lower offsets. Of course if you readjusted camber after lowering then you would not be getting that camber gain.

I didn't realign after doing the springs. I was fully expecting to have to add camber to clear the tires but got lucky. The camber change from my drop amount was actually very little (4-5mm-ish at the top of the wheel) The rear gained even less after lowering. (2-3mm)

I'll be getting it realigned after I do the front sway bar since you basically have to take the front of the car apart to get it in there... Curious to see what the values are currently compared to stock.

I’m still trying to find the right wheels… design wise, in the right size..

What kind of Continental tires are you using? How do you like them?

They're the DWS 06+ , they have been excellent in the heavy rains as of recent. Haven't really put that many miles on them yet in the dry.

Looks great! What are your thoughts on a 18x8 +40 wheel with 225/50-18 tire lowered on RS-R springs? I just checked clearance and there is maybe an inch. Wondering if I should cancel my order with DT now.

Saw you commented in original thread a while but went on a business trip and forgot about the post for a while, sorry but I'll just respond now lol. MPG went from 48avg -> 43avg so a pretty noticeable drop but I'm coming from 19mpg so it's still an upgrade  Note these wheels are 2 inches wider than the stock ones lol. Did you end up picking a wheel yet??
