So far I haven't seen it be anything other than 30HP at the end of my drives. Well, 30.5.

Got a call back from the shop and he reported that the battery, as I've now seen, is in working condition but said it was "weak." asked him how long he thinks it might have left, and he said it could be months or years. Hard to tell. He was wearing of putting too much of a load on the battery saying it could be risky. Sounds good enough to me. Needs a rear wheel bearing and the front struts replaced. Also getting an oil change and new spark plugs and gonna just drive it till it quits. Hopefully later rather than sooner!

Do you guys have any recommendations on headlights for the Gen 1s? The stock ones i've noticed are very dim. I found Sylvania 9003 ZXE Golds were being said to be helpful but they are kinda pricey. Looking up 9003 bulbs on Amazon returned a ton of stuff, including 9003 LED lights. Are any of those amazon LED 9003 bulbs direct fit replacements and possibly a better choice than the Sylvanias?

Aux beam S series in you're proper number like 9003 . I have very bright. You must crank your adjusters down about eight half turns while you're doing this you'll see the cutoff line all of a sudden just magically appear on the garage door then you need to set that line at the proper height I have no idea what it is nor care It's country dependent probably and then go do the other side you'll be amazed at how bright the light and the cutoff is quite good for an open lamp such as these of course cleaning and making sure there is clear as possible goes a long way even if the plastic has hairlines in it if it's relatively clear and clean makes a big difference and the aiming bringing the LEDs down will get you in proper aim pretty quickly and you'll have very bright lights and you probably never address this issue again as long as you have the car even with a cracked headlight and water getting in the LED still work and are fine they're IP rated I have them in all four generation twos and two generation 3s and they are well worth the inexpensive price paid very well worth it.
