Cracked hybrid engine block

    I lost all the oil from the hybrid engine due to a night accident when I climbed over the curb in a dark intersection with a narrow road split.
    I am now waiting for the mechanic in the morning to check how bad is the hybrid engine Crack on the bottom casing.
    Question: do you think that there was also internal damage to the hybrid engine parts???

    Impact speed?
    How quickly did you stop after hitting an obstacle?
    There may be no mechanical damage.
    If the movement was stopped, the liquid did not have time to leak out quickly.
    It is better to check the high voltage windings of the MG for leaks with a good megohmmeter.

    Scraping the bottom shouldn't have damaged the internal parts of the engine. If the car ran for more than a minute or two without oil then the bearings or cylinder walls may be badly damaged.

    I was driving with 35 m/hr and both of the left side rims were bent. I stopped after I hit the curb. The engine didn't start and there was a note on the dashboard that I have to check the hybrid motor.
    Below the hybrid motor block there was leaking all the oil.

    Did u see the photos I attached??
    One Pic shows the torn corner of the motor block and I also reached there to feel the missing piece of the block casing.

    My next question is this:
    Is there any way that I can disconnect the hybrid motor from the main power so I can drive only with the gas engine???

    I don't know if the computer module will sense the hybrid motor disconnection so it can cut the gas engine start up.

    No. The electric motors are integral to the transaxle, the transaxle is what has lost its oil, and without the motors participating, the transaxle doesn't transmit any power, not even from the engine.

    If the engine stopped immediately, you probably haven't done any internal damage to the engine or driveline. To get the car running again, you will have to replace the accident damaged part or parts, which will probably be moderately expensive to do.

    You need to have a knowledgeable mechanic do a very thorough inspection of the car before you start any repairs. Beyond the obvious damage to the transaxle and wheel rims, there may be damage to the suspension and the body where the suspension mounts. In short, it may not be worth it to repair the car. If you carried comprehensive insurance on the car, the repairs should be covered by your insurance carrier.
