Would it also be possible to go to the LE's 17" wheels and tires?

Has anyone tried the 195/60R17 from the LE on the AWD XLE? I just blew a tire today and the wait time for a new one is about 30 days! I asked the dealership about doing this switch, but they don't have any experience with the new Prius and don't know if it'll clear the brake calipers. I've read through a ton of these posts and TBH, I'm still a bit confused about what will work and what won't work.

    It's Hubspace!

I think 215/50R18 would be fine too!
There are so many different options..

I tried looking up the parts on Lakeland Toyota's website (Authentic Toyota Parts | Toyota Parts Overstock (lakelandtoyota.com)). It looks like the 17" wheel (P/N 42611-47651, there's also a 42611-47701. I don't know what the difference is), and according to their fitment guide these fit all of the 2023 Prius models.

You may want to look up things like the dust covers, calipers, caliper brackets, disks... too. Those wheels are $390 each, which I'm imagining will take Toyota a while to get to you as well. Those seem to be common between a few models of Prius and Corolla. It would take quite a bit of research to see what's compatible with what and build a matrix of what cars you could look at. I doubt if the Toyota dealer is going to be that much help, but it might also lead you to some compatible salvage parts (say from a 2020 Prime, which would get you a 15" wheel).

The big reason I suggest the 17" tires (and wheels) from the 2023 LE would be that the wheel offset, and outside diameter are the same. I had a bad experience with my first car, installing aftermarket wheels. The offset wasn't quite compatible with the car, and every speed bump I hit would scrape the sidewall on the wheel well. If Toyota has a Prius wheel that fits, that's what I'd go with.

Just to be thorough here, (and hoping not insulting), this would require you to buy the 17" wheels as well as the tires because you can't put a 17" tire on a 19" wheel.

Hello Xov'ze how are things longer term with those Tesla wheels and tires? Any detriment to mpg or any driving issues? Thanks!

No issues to report! It’s a little hard to say what the effect of the wheels were on mpg because I’ve done a few other mods (TRD front spoiler, custom side skirts, bc racing coilovers), but I’m pretty sure the wheels had a completely negligible effect overall.
