65 miles per US gallon is extremely good. Are you calculating, and considering the oversized tires? They will make the car underestimate distance travelled.

Increasing the car’s ground clearance (obviously) increases air resistance as well.

I love your red color in that AWD....my 2021 AWD Prius LE is Wind Chill Pearl and my wife knicknamed her "Minnie" (Only older folks get that.)

She's (the car) my commuter car so has over 50,000 and I've done all my own maintenance....oil/tranny/both radiator and hybrid system coolants and even drained/filled the rear electric motor with new Toyota WS transmission fluid. I want to change out the PCV valve (every 50,000 miles) but found out I need to remove exhaust manifold to get to it so ordering new gaskets, first.

Let me know if you have any questions about DIY maintenance. (And I use Valvoline 0W-16 every 5,000 miles, which is about every 4-5 months. I buy the 5-gallon Valvoline cartons off Walmart.com when they are on sale...latest sale was $116, free shipping, so that's just $23 a gallon.)

Mobil 1 0w-16 is the same price as 5w-30 or 0w-20. The filter is assumed the same. Most shops use bargain oil filters. I would use a better filter. DIY isn’t that difficult. Need ramps . I go 5k or less, the engines often don’t get warmed up properly. 10 k is too long imo.

Yep, YZZN1 Toyota filters are often now sold right at Walmart...I keep a stash (fits the Prius and both Corollas...2008 and 2024...which is odd but handy)

From what I have read hybrid engines are tough on oil, I would not leave it 10k miles per oil change.

And they're cheap too; less than the bottom rung Fram.
FWIW; that Toyota prepaid service was for 10K mile oil changes. I do 10K oil changes, but with 20K mile motor oil and Fram endurance filters. My understanding is that the 20K mile oil has a more robust additive package and the endurance filter is a bit more restrictive.than OEM. Since I've got a PHEV, I've conservatively calculated that I'm doing at most 7500 actual ICE miles, based on my 80% EV operations at the 10K oil change interval..

I'm probably going to stock a few OEM filters, in case I can't get the Fram endurance filters on sale.

    YMMV

What's strange is, yes the speedo is now 2 mph SLOWER than actual speed (according to Google maps) BUT, when calculating distance my odometer/trip meter are dead accurate. If you can explain that to me, I am all ears. So, I think the 65 mpg (with no A/C) is mostly accurate. This is also hand calculated. I agree in theory the 1.5'' lift kit does add a minute amount of air resistance, maybe..none that I can detect since perhaps the LRR tires make up for it.
