Oil change advice (just coming off original maint plan)

65 miles per US gallon is extremely good. Are you calculating, and considering the oversized tires? They will make the car underestimate distance travelled.

Increasing the car’s ground clearance (obviously) increases air resistance as well.

 

I love your red color in that AWD....my 2021 AWD Prius LE is Wind Chill Pearl and my wife knicknamed her "Minnie" (Only older folks get that.)

She's (the car) my commuter car so has over 50,000 and I've done all my own maintenance....oil/tranny/both radiator and hybrid system coolants and even drained/filled the rear electric motor with new Toyota WS transmission fluid. I want to change out the PCV valve (every 50,000 miles) but found out I need to remove exhaust manifold to get to it so ordering new gaskets, first.

Let me know if you have any questions about DIY maintenance. (And I use Valvoline 0W-16 every 5,000 miles, which is about every 4-5 months. I buy the 5-gallon Valvoline cartons off Walmart.com when they are on sale...latest sale was $116, free shipping, so that's just $23 a gallon.)

 

Mobil 1 0w-16 is the same price as 5w-30 or 0w-20. The filter is assumed the same. Most shops use bargain oil filters. I would use a better filter. DIY isn’t that difficult. Need ramps . I go 5k or less, the engines often don’t get warmed up properly. 10 k is too long imo.
