I am saying that the Delta SOC is just as important as the voltage difference. A hybrid battery with a 42.50% Delta SOC is NOT a healthy battery pack. You do not even need to look at the voltage difference reading when the Delta SOC is 42.50% to know that the battery has a problem.

Please explain to the OP how you would fix a hybrid battery pack that has a 42.50% Delta SOC.

Would you also question why the 12v battery reading of 14.2v does not change during the 3 minute video?

I just noticed your post. The voltage difference in the video is so low because the current usage (charging or discharging) is very low. If the current usage was higher (like 50 to 80 amps), the voltage difference readings would be much higher. The OP is getting a large enough voltage difference between the battery blocks to activate the P0A80 code when he is driving the car. If the OP has a scanner capable of reading freeze frame data, he could look at that freeze frame data and see the voltage level of all 14 battery blocks when the code was triggered.

First thing I would do is tell them to monitor voltage difference in real time under hard braking and hard acceleration to get a better sense of severity of the problem and how much time they have left on the pack. Then I would find out their skill level and what they can afford and then I'd give them a range of options to make repairs in their price range.
