Ya I checked it this morning and had to add a few oz's. I'll keep checking after every drive.

That's a lot. I would suspect a leak. Have the radiator cap tested. One way they fail is that they open up at too low a pressure, but high enough that the coolant just evaporates when it blows out. Result: mysteriously disappearing coolant.

Ya I'll figure it out. Usually a leak presents itself with the smell of coolant. I have never smelled coolant which would mean that it is either so small you won't smell it or the leak is internal. Either way I'm on it.

Our Accord had the "bad radiator cap" leak. There was no clue, coolant just disappeared with no sign of it anywhere. We looked everywhere, even inside the cylinders with the radiator pressurized, in case there was a head gasket problem. Didn't make any sense until the cap was tested and found to be defective. (Ordered a replacement from RockAuto, not OEM but a well known and usually reliable brand. Luckily still had the rental radiator tester when it came. The replacement cap wouldn't open, even at pressures far above its rating. Gave up and bought an OEM cap for several multiples of the nonOEM's cost at the closest dealer's parts department and all was good.)

Looks like the water pump is leaking.

Does AISIN WPT111 sound like the right part?

That is listed as an option on the RockAuto site. I would buy it from there rather than Amazon or Ebay to avoid a counterfeit part.

You thin the AISIN store on Amazon might be selling counterfeits?

There was a white paper on counterfeiting that I encountered several years ago. I think I linked to it in at least one thread here.

It mentioned a large online marketplace (without naming it) where a lot of different sellers might be offering the 'same' item description, and the marketplace would accept your order with a specific seller and then ship you the 'same' item from whichever seller's stock is warehoused nearest you.

Although the paper didn't name the marketplace, I have known Amazon to do that, at least one time for sure. During the lockdown, I was shopping for a knife sharpener gizmo that was advertised by a bunch of different sellers, and I earnestly took my time reading all their about pages and reviews and finally chose one of them to order from, and the shipment I got identified one of the sellers I had decided not to order from.

I have no idea whether they still do that, or not.

I guess it's efficient and gets you the item quickly—as long as the 'same' item as described by different sellers really is the 'same' item.
