Parking brake question

    Well, with the Gen 4/Gen 5 Prius/Prius Prime HEV/PHEV, the problem is not the size of the size of the battery but the fact that the 12-V BMS does not fully charge the 12-V battery. It likes to keep it around a 75% SOC, but since it is buggy, this could drift down much lower.

    Regarding CCA, this was discussed before. The CCA on the OEM battery is reported according to the EN standard. The equivalent of an EN CCA of 285 A in the older CCA standard is about 470 A.

    This is my thought as well. I recall many times over the years that when spring came around, my mechanical EPB was frozen/seized. I don't care what the "Car Care Nut" says about electric parking brakes...it sounds like an expensive fil if it seizes and doesn't release. lol
