Installed and its loud asf, perfect for me.
at first installed an electronic air horn; cheap one from amazon for $45 bucks or so.. it was ok in conjunction with stock horns and slightly louder, however this was not enough for me.
    - Horn blasters Shocker XL
    - Firestone 2 gallon 2 port 1/4 npt air tank

Ha, I love this. Well done! I want a new horn on my 2010 Mazda3, the stock horn is so pathetic I hate using it.

Curious if you realize train horns on cars have been known to cause permanent hearing damage to people close to that car. You CAN be subject to a lawsuit, and if they're able to prove hearing loss, you will lose. And it would be well deserved if you use that horn when people are nearby. There's a reason they're on trains and not on cars. If you want to find a fast way to be a victim of road rage, have at it. It's all fun and games till some DB blows a horn like that at your wife, daughter or grandmother. or some young kid that just got their license and it causes them to have an accident or a heart attack. Blow it by me, and we're throwing down. It's no different than some DB coal rolling a small car, except hearing loss is for a lifetime.

There's a reason pretty much every state has this or something very similar in their laws:

It shall further be unlawful for any person at any time to use a horn otherwise than as a reasonable warning or to make any unnecessary or unreasonably loud or harsh sound by means of a horn or other warning device.

upgraded to 1/2 ID hose from tank to valve.. and then 3/8 ID from manifold to horns.. this setup really lets the K3 horns sound loud as they should. Also upgraded to a single 18 sub

Squids actually called those a 'steam whistle' and they won't fit in an itty-bitty little G3 Prius.
That doesn't seem to bother passengers waiting to board the train......or the engineers.
People inside a car are insulated from most of the sound in my experience, having been at a railroad crossing more than a few times......

I think train horns in cars are idiotic, but in most places in the US they are caught and harshly punished by the authorities eventually.
I leave policing to the police.
