2010 Prius Horns not Working

    My horns are not working even when I hit the emergency button on my key fob. All of the lights flash, no horn. All of the buttons are working on the steering wheel and no grinding sound when turning the wheel. ?????

    2010 Prius 184K miles.

    Does the horn work when you activate it on the steering wheel?

    You also created a different thread ( https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/3586635) about the rear defroster not working. They could be related. Did you check the appropriate fuses?

    No fuse for the horn according to the manual. There is a fuse for the heaters in the side mirrors and it is good.

    Determined both wires were yanked out of the horns. Spliced in a new wire with female spade fittings and it works perfectly!
