I just bought a new actuator and booster for my 2010 Prius. The old one was constantly trying to pressurize. Got both of them swapped out and now it seems to be working much better but I can’t get the traction control, brake, ABS, or check system lights on dash to go away. I cleared all the codes with a bluedriver. I have the Toyota tech stream software but can’t get it to connect with the USB cable I currently have. Any help ideas on clearing these lights? Thanks in advance. Kevin
You need to run the Linear Valve Offset (I think that's what it's called) function with Techstream or similar software.
When I did that work I followed along with a youtube video that used the Topdon tool to run through the procedure. At the time it was reasonably priced <$100, but the software license was only good for 1 year. Have not had any lights come on for over a year and the brakes are working fine.
Op can ask a mechanic shop to do it, they should all have the proper software if they work on Toyota cars. It's a 5 minute job or maybe someone here has techstream and can do it?
Before 'clearing' them, find out why they are on. That's the way you'll be able to solve the problem they are reporting. If your scan tool won't connect, you can get the trouble codes this way: Blink (a/k/a Flash) Codes – How to. | PriusChat
