is it possible to replace the servo motor without removing the dash board? Or is it possible to move the servo to cold position? After I use the heat the servo motor won't go back to cold. Thanks you.

I've heard of people cutting access holes in the dash to get in there, at least in other car models. Never head of anyone trying that in a Prius c though.

I wish you luck, it's not a fun situation. Virtually every car model with automatic climate control has this same setup, and has the potential to run into the same problem you're having.

Most of them also require the whole-dash-out to fix a bad servo.

If you do find an easier way, maybe let us know?

I don't know about the c, but in some Prius generations there has been a big difference in difficulty depending on which of the servo motors needs to be replaced.

Gen 1 and gen 2 had at least one or two of the servos kind of practically accessible from the driver's footwell. The air inlet servo, fuhgeddaboutit.
