Prius HEV / PHEV Recall

    Recall 26TB03 is unrelated to the 2024 recall about the same thing -- apparently, the fix wasn't a fix.

    Here's the link to Toyota's page -- your dealer will install a fix to prevent the rear door switch from opening even if shorted.

    FFS, Toyota -- you're really fumbling the late 2020s :cautious:

    Guess this means stop-sale on '26s until this is installed in dealer units? May not -- fix can be supposedly done immediately, according to my Toyota app.

    And one wonders why we can't get any tire mfrs to make aftermarket 190/60-17s for us LE schlubs. Can't sell them :(

    Better to fix them than sell them broken as domestics may and have done... but FFS, Toyota.
