Battery has range, but doesnt work properly.

    I am not saying dr Prius is wrong. It’s just that its focus is only the battery OBD values. It is not the full story.

    Update:
    it turns out its most likely because the new battery is a lithium - ion battery while it should be acid battery. didnt know that you can put a different type of battery in a certain car. I called previous owner and this battery in fact is a lithium ion battery. For now i dont have money to replace the battery but when i will keep observing the situation and when i solve it, i will post update for people looking for solution in the future.

    If you have a lithium battery, it's after market and Toyota won't be able to do any diagnosis on it. Even when you decide to replace it with OEM Toyota battery, you will need to eat the core charge because Toyota won't accept the Lithium battery as core.

    Where did they get it from?
    There are some companies supplying lithium for nimh Prius, and you could call for support.
    If they simply replaced the modules with lithium, you might be driving a fire hazard
