I have a 14 C. Couple months ago I pulled the HV battery and replaced a few modules with ones from a spare pack. They were not much better than the ones I replaced but it was what I had available. I equalized the modules after using a hobby charger to charge them individually. Worked fine for 5 months but now pa080 is back and there is a 40% delta SOC. I am thinking I might try a grid charger this time. I see tons of threads for DIY grid chargers for the 28 module battery along with the Meanwell LED drivers used in those applications. But I have not seen a thread with anyone listing which to use for a battery with only 20 cells. I know I need about 160v. I was looking at this adjustable unit HLG-80H-C350A. Can anyone who has done this please let me know what you used and what your procedure was. Thanks
Hello, I have a spare grid charger, the one from Prolong Battery Systems. I have since replaced my battery with a lithium one, and don't have much of a use for it. I have the harness for it, too. Let me know if you're interested, and I may be able to get it to you.
