Why no rear window wiper?

    I checked about installing a custom rear wiper. No metel to mount it.

    Look at the heater lines in the rear window.
    They don't expect much.

    Coming from a Gen 3, I never thought I'd miss the rear wiper, but I do. I now make do with Rain X.

    I never had a car with one (including my Gen 4 Prius Prime), and I never felt the need for one. In fact, it never crossed my mind until I saw this thread.

    People here even removed it for better fuel economy. I would take fuel economy over a feature that is virtually unneeded.
