Got an OEM hybrid battery from the dealership to swap in for my old dying one on my 06 standard prius..thought it'd be plug and play but now it looks like i need to transfer the electronics over (ECU, relays, wiring harness etc) from the old one to the new one.

Can't for the life of me find a good tutorial on youtube or elsewhere showing how it's done. I took the safety plug out but i know there's still a lot of current in the buses and opening up the battery to move the wiring harness over is sketching me out a bit without a good guide.

Can anyone point me to a good resource on this or have other advice? The mechanical part of it's no problem, I just wanna make sure i know what is and isn't live before i start digging around in the battery..looked around the forums here but haven't found anything.

ChrisFix have a good one in YouTube.. Did you check that? He was changing the cells, but the electronics parts should be visible?

How many miles on the original one?

Here in Dallas area, there is a company comes to home and replace it with OEM battery for $2200 and they give 5 year warranty also.
