Had P0A80 code and battery was replaced. Code came back shortly after the new battery was put in. I'm trying to figure out if the cause of the code was actually the battery or if something else triggered it. I have no idea how to interpret these readings. Can you guys tell me what these two pictures tell me about the batteries?

The P0A80 code is caused by a problem with the hybrid battery. Where did you buy the "new" hybrid battery from and how much did you pay for it? I hope it came with a good warranty. How many miles on the car?

Which battery did you replace? The 12v or the Hybrid Battery?

Was it a NEW battery pack, or refurbished? HUGE difference.
Did you replace it, or have someone do it?
Is it the Sodium Ion pack from Jack?

Who diagnosed the issue? How did they do it? Where there other codes?
Other issued can trigger that code and it not be the hybrid battery.
Where all the codes cleared before and after replace the battery?
Was/is the 12v battery FULLY charged?

Well over 200k on car. Greenbean. They installed. The middle option: Hybrid Battery Options for Prius 2010-2015 | Green Bean Battery. Yes warranty. Yes other codes were B1423 and B1498 (when engine was replaced 3-4 years ago, they somehow messed up the a/c, so it hasn't worked since) and C1259 and C1310 (not currently active, but were stored a month or so ago). TBH, the C codes now have me worrying about the inverter as the issue rather than the battery, which is why I'm asking.
Where all the codes cleared before and after replace the battery? I am not sure. They did the replacement and I'm obviously pretty ignorant of these things.
Was/is the 12v battery FULLY charged? Again, I'm not certain.

What can you tell me about the battery readings? Are they bad enough to trigger the P0A80 code or is likely the inverter or something else?

Sorry, ASRDogman. I think I replied to some of your questions in the wrong post, but I think I answered them above. Can you share any insight on the readings or the situation? Thank you.

Which did you get? They have 3 options....
I believe they've been burned enough with the used batteries, they are going with new.
Sodium Ion is the best pack to get.

Since they have a warranty, you should contact them and have them come fix it.
The first photo everything looks fine, but the 2nd one looks like one sell is low.
Are you sure you got a NEW pack????

The C1259 and C1310 codes are not caused by the inverter, they are triggered when you get the P0A80 code.

If the P0A80 code is a current/active code and not a historical or permanent code, it is time to start a warranty claim with Greenbean. If the code is current, the master warning light (red or orange triangle) will be on and the hybrid battery cooling fan will be running at maximum speed.

Can you please post a picture of the scanner showing the P0A80 code?

There is no unusual data show in the first Dr Prius screenshot. It appears that this was taken when the car was in ignition on mode (car not in Ready). The second screenshot looks like the car was in Ready mode and shows a Delta SOC of 33%, which is not good. This is telling you that the battery blocks are not balanced to each other. A healthy battery pack has a Delta SOC of 0%.

Can you please tell me what other issues can cause a P0A80 code besides the hybrid battery? Maybe I will learn something new today.
