Front end noise

    Struggling to pin point a front end noise. In the last 20k miles I’ve replaced transmission mount with aftermarket. KYB aftermarket struts. Sway bar bushings OEM and end links moog. Lower control arms aftermarket. Tie rod ends OEM.

    The noise only happens on rough roads and washboards. Never on speed bumps or pot holes or flat roads.

    I can’t pick up any engine movement indicating engine mounts.

    replaced the KYB struts once due to a clunk after replacement. Fixed the clunk.

    sounds like metal on metal… with a crowbar I can’t get any play in the replaced parts.

    at a loss as to where to look next

    This sounds like either the upper strut mounts or more likely the sway bar links that are connected to the end of the sway bars vertically to the struts.
