I will ask them the following - feedback? whats the expectation for the voltage difference?

    Hi xxx,

Just to summarize what we discussed over the phone yesterday:

    • I submitted a screenshot from Dr. Prius showing the Internal Resistance warning and the permanent P0A80 code.
    • There are currently no other active trouble codes visible besides the permanent P0A80 code. Also, there is no master warning light (red or yellow triangle) illuminated at the moment.
    • I attached another screenshot showing the internal resistance of each battery module. The internal resistance of battery module #3 is 36 milliohms, and the battery cooling fan runs almost continuously, which was not the case with my previous battery.
      • For reference: A good, new NiMH battery should typically have an internal resistance in the low 20 milliohm range. A 10+ year-old or degraded NiMH battery is usually around 30 milliohms. New sodium-ion batteries are typically around 15 milliohms.
Can you please confirm that the installation of the replacement battery will be provided at no charge and that I will not be charged any fees?

Also, if the replacement battery does not show an improvement in quality or performance (not in the range for 20 milliohms), I will request a refund and reinstall my original Toyota battery that I provided to you.

    Thanks,
    Gerald

This is all unnecessary. You paid for a new battery, you should get a new battery. Why does it need to test a certain level? Open the case before they install it. Take a few pictures for your evidence of what is inside. Make sure it looks new and have them install it.

You can post the pictures here later and we can tell you what type of battery you got. For you to go through all these steps in buying a BRAND NEW battery shows you don't even trust this company yourself. Why are you going through with this transaction?

You should have purchase the Sodium Ion Pack from Jack.
They you would KNOW it is brand new. No "remanufactured"(used), or "rebuilt"(used).

The Dr Prius app does not tell you if the P0A80 code is current or a permanent code. Are you using a different scanner to read the codes and it says the P0A80 is permanent code?
