I have successfully disabled the reverse beep and have successfully set the seat-belt beep to b-off.

When I power the car it is still beeping. If I insert the driver's seatbelt immediately after the first beep, the noise stops.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

Turning the seatbelt beeper off DOES NOT disable the beeper on startup; this beeper times-out in a few seconds. Turning the seatbelt beeper off DOES turn of the beeping that would be present if you were moving with the seat belt unfastened.

Argh IU was afraid of something like that. It's not something I practice so this change is useless to me <_<

Put your seat belt on before powering on your car. You do use your seat belt, don't you?

Get a seat belt extension from your dealer. They are free and the beep won't go off as long as the extension is in place.

How did you disable the reverse beeping? I find it annoying. Might be good if the sound was outside, as a way to warn people. But I know when I'm in reverse. How do you disable this? Thanks

Make sure to NOT take your foot off the brake pedal during this sequence (not the emergency brake).
