I had placed my PiP order trough one of the qualified Toyota dealers, Staten Island Toyota, SI, NY for my new 2012 Plug-in .
I'm under the assumption that we, the pre-order customers of PriusChat will receive a PriusChat swag directly from your place or the delivery dealer.
Is it there a more definite time frame from your part?

Hi Danny. I can't tell whether my other message got through, but here is another. Is there anything unique about the lower rocker moldings - those silver things - for the PiP? Do they say plug in? Or are they the same as the moldings for the regular 2012 PiP?

I was prompted to speak to you about posting in here. My name is Drew and I'm the Internet Manager at Frontier Toyota in Valencia, CA. We are a large Prius/Hybrid dealer and I've been in with Toyota for 8 years. I'd be happy to post in here and provide some insight from a dealer perspective. I've put a lot of Prius on the road and I thought this forum would be another great way to interact with my customers and build the Prius community. I do understand the no advertising policy from your guys persepective so I'd be happy to abide by any guidelines you set forth. There's a lot of bad information given out by dealers these days (for example ordering a Prius C) so I'd be happy to lend any expertise I have to this thread.

First-thanks for creating Prius chat!
I have a 2010 gen 3, 34k miles, leased, and lease expires April 2013. Started to get extended warranty notices from a company Toyota deals with. Spoke with them and turned off by the hard sell. Called my dealership and as directed to the sales dept for extended warranty-no thanks.
Any ideas for extended warranty resources, which package is best, get one or not?
Tempted to just wait until my lease ends, see if I will buy it and deal with extended warranty at that time.

As a fellow Charlottean and an eco-friendly fan, can you recommend an approach to purchasing a 2012 Prius PHV? After reading about the Certified Dealer Program, I am a bit unclear if I should wait for a local dealer to offer the PHV or use an out-of-state dealer.

I listen to the podcast and read the forums daily and appreciate your efforts.

In the 2012, assuming a fully charged battery, and a cold start. How soon before the EV kicks in.
