Hey Kevin. I did need to schedule it, but it was next day. Then it was another day while they got the part once they determined which of the two versions it needed.

As for oil changes, I do my own. However, I do buy my oil and filters from the dealer since their price is close enough to Walmart's Mobil1 price to make it worth keeping a good relationship with a good dealer.

    Thanks for the kind words.

Good to know. Thank you. I will call them a week or two out. I wish I could do my own oil changes, but I don't own any of the ramps/jacks, pans, etc that I would need, and I'm afraid that there is a "learning curve" that I should have completed on a '96 Chevy or the likes many years ago, but never did.

No worries. It's pretty easy. If you're close to New Port Richey, maybe you could bring yours over for the next oil change and I'll show you how or else talk you through it. Can't do that now because I'm getting ready for a three week trip to Africa and leave next Friday.

Thanks. I may take you up on that offer one of these days. I am in the Trinity area a few times per week, so it may just work out. Have a good trip, and be safe over there.
