    Howdy! thanks for the time!
OK, so I've had pretty good luck finding how to videos for Gen2 projects. but not so much for AC work on my gen3 2012 package one. The AC was crapping out on the hottest of days. It would blow cold for a few minutes then go warm, Freon pressure was good.

My local Prius guys (who are defected Hybrid trained Toyota guys) say the compressor was making funny noises and wanted $2350 to replace just the compressor. I was able to get a new OEM compressor from Toyota overstock for $1050 when they insisted their wholesale was $1700.

Any who..... I've got the compressor, a Denso condenser and the rubber hoses plus a dryer filter. I'm also replacing the bumper and all the under plastic parts so do it all at once. Getting the parts out doesn't look so bad at all, where I'm stuck is the compressor oil.

According to the Toyota literature one must dump out the fluid from the old compressor measure it carefully and remove the same amount from the new one such that the oil in the new compressor PLUS the remaining oil in the system adds up to the correct amount. Seems tedious. SOOOO where do I drain the fluid from? it's not entirely obvious to me.

Also I have a dryer filter element, is that worth changing while I'm at it? I've seen your YouTube channel and there's like 1,000,001 videos to sift through. Are any a specific teardown of a Gen3? Thanks again.
