If it was something the oil change shop did, then it would have leaked immediately and you would have seen oil on the ground under the car where...
I take your point, I'm all about being safe and driving safely as well. However, if a person wanted to do a 55 mph run over 10 miles, I'm sure...
The first 5 seem to be about cars other than a Gen 2 Prius. Nothing they said would sway me from my opinion as the housing is cast aluminum, not...
You understand the concept of exponential change, right? An increase of headwind will increase the drag also if that is a factor between your two...
Drag increases exponentially for each mile-per-hour increase. Redo the experiment at 55 MPH for a more impressive MPG. The sweet spot for the...
I really find that hard to believe. The amount of force required to crack the housing would crush the filter before it cracked a cast metal...
Well, it is simple maths. 28 × 7.2 V vs 38 × 7.2 V. 201.6 V ....vs 273.6 V.
I guess the Gen 2 was a refinement of the original.

No, there are 38 × 7.2 V (nominal) NiMH modules which would make a nominal 274 VDC pack. If you mean can you put a 28-module Gen 2 pack into a...
The W in the xW-xx notation more properly is Winter not Weight. Your thinking on this is all wrong. If you wanted to make the difference that...
That is probably way overkill. You only really need to remove the filter housing and the MAF sensor then clean the throttle body throat and...
Interesting, I didn't think the TPS was supposed to be adjusted in the field. And, why did you have to adjust it?
... if the oil loss is due to leaking seals. If you do have leaking seals and you start to use high mileage oil, you will never be able to go...
It's probably academic on a Gen 2 as they are both on the same assembly. The fix for either is to replace the entire assembly.
Do you have a picture of the new sensor or even a side-by-side with the old and new one? I can't really visualize what you are trying to...
