it is a torque damper for the start up and shut down of the ICE I believe. $500 part new...
I guess you're not alone now. My 2010 even snapped the input shaft.

Trans has 55k miles on it. Junk yard says they recommend a fluid flush on every trans. What do you guys think. Used damper was 75$ hope it works...
