My Gen two was a Touring so not a fair comparison from me.
Egg shape was a great design that made sense. Looks are not everything.
The touring is a little stiffer to me and doesn't seem to drag like the Gen 3 standard.

Mine shows one set of numbers with no history of updates even though it has updated. Also both cars have a different version number. Maybe!
