MAgnetic drain plugs are totally unnecessary in modern cars. I find the fumoto unnecessary as well. It's so easy as is. YMMV

Yeah, that's a California thing. They don't do that here in Colorado. You do need proper tires and/or AWD-4X4. Big rigs require chains for the passes.

You don't need any 'kit'. Any horn will work either alone or with the OEM. I put a Ford Explorer horn from a salvage yard with mine
