Yep, I had to bang on the hood for it to pop up. Overtime the latch becomes sticky, so it won’t release as if it was new.
That’s probably your early signs of a head gasket failure. Mine happened like that, then 80k miles later, misfire on cylinder 1 and low coolant.
Everything looks good, just drive it till it gives you a check engine light. I’m sure if it’s bad enough, it’ll pop something for you to check on.
