If the washer is aluminum it may be a oil drain plug washer. Maybe one got left in the engine bay during a oil change.
Doe it have a burnt wire smell around the left headlight ?

I checked my total voltage after the install, it was at 231 DC volts.

I change my 2 Priis (2004 and 2005) at 10k miles with Mobile 1 and Motorkote, neither one uses a drop of oil between changes.
I have replaced my cells with Nexcel and I'm going to sell my old cells on Fleabay.
