Do that have OEM ones in stock or do you have to wait? Do they provide you with a rental car? Man that is brutal

I so want to convert my Prius to all electric and then hollow out the catalytic converter and turn it into a black widow farm.

Did your insurance payment go up by any chance?

It'd be interesting to see what makeshift contraptions people come up with. I was thinking of wrapping barbed wire around it.

The only suggestion for catalytic converter theft is full coverage insurance. It is $200-$300 more per year on a $5000 car. However, they paid for an OEM dealer installed $3800 catalyst after my $500 deductible and insurance premium was not affected. Police did not do much.

Driving without the catalyst can burn a valve very fast. Do not attempt. Also, more importantly expedite the replacement process as much as you can to save the hybrid battery. If it is sitting for one or two months now at this age will likely be damaged.
