07 Prius pulled p0a80 code "Replace Hybrid Battery" - What are my options?

    You remove all of the modules from each battery and swap them;).

    You can remove the modules from gen 3 and install them in Gen 2.

    It is possible to take the original 3 gen battery And to assemble it directly into the genomic location of the gen2 Without dismantling the battery?

    tazman, how long ago did you change out your battery pack? I love I Hawaii also and my moms Prius just threw this code up... I’m fairly decent working on cars. Wondering if I should just do this myself?

    Took me 3-4 hours on removing and putting back the whole battery pack, and another 3-4 hours on assembling the battery cells. If you are familiar with cars, you should finish them much quicker. On youtube someone removes and restores whole battery pack within 15 minutes. YMMV.
