    From Wiki.
Colgate-Palmolive removed it from Palmolive Dish Soap and Softsoap in 2011 (but it remained in Colgate Total toothpaste until late 2018 or early 2019.

Still hovering at $1.69 locally and $1.44 a few counties away.
I'm thinking that we're due for some more sharp drops in pricing.

Governments are trying to prop up oil prices, but they're not going to be able fill airliner seats or clog roads with traffic.

Supply and Demand isn't a 'suggestion'....

national average price was still a little over $2
but is expected to decline to $1.25-$1.50

Driving home Thursday from the aborted ski trip, spotting a local gas price war on GasBuddy saved me over $11 on a single refill (in the Forester, not the Prius). And I didn't have even push my remaining distance margin uncomfortably low.

One of the offices in my turf is at $1.25...but we're still holding at $1.69 locally.

    We'll see.
Once all of the hoarders stop running around buying up all of the butt wipe I'm wondering if the demand will drive the price down a little more.

So there you have it $1 gaso in some places, I am not saying everywhere...

Here we are still $2 but I ain't got nothing to fill up cause we are at home. I am waiting til it gets to $1.50 or so and then I will get another 60-70 cents off for groceries. Then I will brag and frame the receipt which will be our first fill-up on the RAV4H.

I want to compare RAV4H vs. 2006 Prius MPG for the short distance driving we do these days in retirement. I am thinking we may be about even, which is incredible accomplishment that the "big" RAV4 gets 40. Implication is Gen5 Prius is 60 MPG? not sure.

After about 12 yr I fell off the MPG documentation wagon on the Prius. But I think we have most of the receipts ready for data hand-entry into Excel.

I did that on my 2010 but started again for the Prime. Nothing elaborate, just an Excel file.

    Whoa!!!...
...tonite on CNBC they were showing $0.42 for RBOB.

That's what oil companies sell the more expensive reformulated gasoline for.
addon state tax + Fed Tax + margin and you have pump price. Probably also a transport cost in there for the cost of getting gasoline shipped to your particular area.

Not bad! Figuring an average tank holds 14 gallons, that's only twelve and a half cents per gallon. My grandparents might have remembered prices down in that range.

Around 1971-72, I was able to fill up my Honda 90 for 25 cents. It had a 1.5 gallon tank. Loved those price wars.

as a kid? Gas war pricing could drop it to 39¢. Modernly? With our ever deflating dollar value? today it would have to drop under a nickel to be comprable. So we got a ways to go. Call me when it hits 10¢. At that point - it'll be time to start filling up the 4 Jerry cans for the generator. Though we seldom have to fire it up for anything other than maintenance, it can still be used down the road in either of the two plug-ins.

Probably also have to add the price of the additives to that.
