    I have posted my review of the Prius on my blog. After 10 months I thought it was OK to write my impression about this impressive car.
    I hope you like it.

    It is quite long and took me a long time to write. There are no pictures, but I will add some in the future. It is also a summary of the many things I read, among others, in Priuschat.

    If you happen to read it, please let me know if there are any obvious mistakes or things that need to be corrected, improved or added. Also grammar or typos corrections are appreciated.

    Some statements are based on my impressions and are not meant to have any scientific significance or are still discussed with no final answer, in Priuschat.

    Thanks everybody for the kind words and the compliments - I am flattered, honestly.
    FYI: I have added pictures (and will add some more) and a few more comments regarding the shift lever and a couple of other HSD considerations.
    Things come to my mind everyday as I drive - I go like, "oh, this is cool - you cannot do it on a conventional car - I forgot to mention it"....

    You did a great job putting into words why the 2010 Prius, although not yet perfect, is such an awesome car to us who love it! After reading your review, I understand the technical magic a little more and hope to motivate others to go hybrid/electric vehicle. LOL, or at least I can direct them to your review!

    Great review :)

    Living in your neigherbouring country, Denmark, I have the same winter / summer experiences as you.

    I went for the Prius with the highest trim available here, which includes the solar roof and solar panels; especially the latter has proven to be very effictive here :)

    I have added a Webasto preheater which gives me both a warm welcomming cabin with ice-free windows and at the same time makes my Prius act as on a warm summer day...

    Thanks for a great review - like you I drive with a big smile and way more content than in any previous car I have ever driven ss

    How does this heater work? by using fuel or from a plug? if it uses fuel, how much of it and will it heat the engine only or also the interior?
    I am asking all this, because if the heater costs e.g. 1000€, then apart the waste of time in the morning for scratching, I see no economical reason to install it as it would take forever to compensate the cost and the extra fuel, compared to the saving I get in time and fuel by starting a cold Prius - here it is cold, but not that *cold* and for not such a long time...
    Obviously if I were living in Scandinavia, then....(and there plugs are available at parking places to keep the engine warm in any case..)
