I have a 2010 prius and today when i was driving the car it started shaking everytime i brake and after a little bit i realized that the car was having trouble shifting from battery to engine and engine to battery and once the battery runs out the car shuts off and whn i start it again it starts in engine mode and charges the battery, has anybody else experience that? would love the help thank you

Shaking implies engine misfire and/or out of gas symptoms. In Gen 1 and Gen II, similar things happen with a sticky throttle plate. Take it somewhere and have the codes read. Surely you are getting warning lights?

I took the car to the dealer and they read 15 codes of the car and i dont know everyhting that was wrong but they changed the 12v battery as well as the hybrid system computer because they stated that the engine was getting air instead of gas.

So that's the end? Can you please post the specific trouble codes from your invoice i.e. P0171 for lean burn (too much air) and the part number for the computer that was replaced? This must have cost a pretty penny, since HV ECU or engine ECM is > $700. With 12V battery and labor the bill would be over $1000. Or did they reflash the ECM or HV ECU?
