    Yeah, Bucky Fuller's world. I always wished the future was more like that. Seriously, some days I'm quite sure I'm not living on the same planet as everyone else, and everyone else is sure they are on Earth, so I must be on Planet Octet.

    Any state can fly their flag at the same height. From the Federal Flag code:
    When the national flag and a state flag are flown on separate staffs, the flag of the United States of America should be flown to the right (to the flag's own right, or to the observer's left) of the state flag, and from a staff of equal or greater height.

    Correct, that's why I corrected my original post. Corrected from "higher" to "same height." Texas is the only state that can fly its flag the same height as the US flag.
