    Grand Rapids sucks butt. Every good places closes at 9pm, 11pm on weekends (if you are lucky)
    Oh...I know at one point in time Grand Rapids had more churches per capita than any other city in the country.

    The weather sucks.....um.....Oh we do have LOTS of those resturants that have all the old crap nailed to the wall. TGI Fridays, Benigans, Applebee's...that all serve the same menu.
    Oh and Amway started here....
    I don't think they would ever hire me at the Chamber of Commerce.

    yes. i'm a grad student with a less-than-exciting stipend. i'll take whatever free goods i can get. has anyone read phd comics- piled higher and deeper? :)
