11.6 2020 Audio Update

    I brought a XLE last week and found an update (feb 2020) audio system, when I tried to apply I get an incompatible message although it said it's for the 2020 prime on their website. I noticed that the model of my unit ends on aa02 as opposed to the update which ends on aa01. Do you know if there is a difference on early 2020 models vs late 2020 models?

    This issue has been discussed over in this thread: Software update from Feb 2020? | PriusChat
    Unfortunately the toyota download site has the wrong update file linked for the 2020 Prime. Nobody has been able to locate the proper file yet, but it may be available on techinfo, but that hasn't been verified yet.

    You have correctly deduced that the proper update file for your vehicle is 16TABDNA-AA02_3000.kwi. 16TABDNA-AA01_1001.kwi is for the 2017-2019

    Ugh.. I booted up an old computer where the Toyota software download link was in the favorites and figured "oh. let's see..."
    WHY?! hahahah I was so happy not knowing there was an update available :LOL:

    Does anyone know if Tecinfo has the base (factory) firmware as well as the patches?
