Hi. The recent post on loading a custom start up image got me thinking I may want to do this. I have the 11.6 inch screen. I'd like to crop an image to the correct vertical and horizontal pixel widths (or at least the correct ratio of pixels) so the image is not distorted when loaded onto the screen. I've googled around but for some reason can't find the pixel dimensions of the screen. I have seen variously "HD" and "high resolution." (1080p? 720p?)

I was wondering if anyone knew the screen dimension. Thanks in advance!

It's definitely at least 1920x1080. I took a quick-and-dirty measurement and got about 9 pixels per mm. The screen is 256x144mm, so that would be 2304x1296. As I said, that was quick and dirty so 1920x1080 seems very likely. It could be 2560x1440.

Thanks! Those have the same height and width ratio so I'll crop to that.

I'm just trying to picture someone, coming forward 10 years in a time machine, trying to fathom what this thread is about, lol.

If asked, I'll report this myself, ask to have it deleted: it does kinda border on sniping.
